Directed by Lisa Channer and Vladimir Rovinsky

Inspired by Russian writer Evgeny Shvartz’s play An Ordinary Miracle, Something About a Bear is a contemporary fairy tale featuring a mischievous wizard, a bear turned into a man, a cross-dressing princess, an epic snow storm and a hysterical tyrant king; it is a play about the exquisite and terrifying power of love and will delight and inspire audiences of all ages with its magic, humor and heart.

Something About a Bear is a co-production of Theatre Novi Most and The University of Minnesota Department of Theatre and Dance, developed in collaboration with The Playwrights’ Center.
