New play about Isadora Duncan in Russia
Theater Novi Most is developing a new production about the legendary American modern dancer Isadora Duncan and her tumultuous marriage to the famous Russian poet Sergei Esenin. Set in the wake of the Russian Revolution, the play focuses on the relationship between two artists of mythic proportion who meet each other at the borderlands between languages and socio-political conditions.
A staged reading of Dancing on the Edge was presented in Minneapolis, MN in November 2012.
