Join the Playwrights’ Center and Theatre Novi Most for a reading of Dancing on the Edge by Affiliated Writer Adam Kraar on Friday, January 27 at 7 p.m. Adam and Theatre Novi Most are workshopping this play in advance of a fall 2017 world premiere production in Minneapolis.

About the play: The cast includes Theatre Novi Most co-founder Lisa Channer in the role of Isadora Duncan and Twin Cities based actor Sasha Andreev as her Russian husband, the poet Sergei Esenin. Directed by Vladimir Rovinsky, this bilingual play tells the story of the tumultuous pairing in 1920 of two of the era’s most fascinating artists. Created with the support of the Isadora Duncan International Institute in NY, the play includes live piano music and Duncan dances set by IDII artistic director, Jeanne Bresciani. Dancing on the Edge will tour to New York this fall after its Minneapolis premiere.
